Indigofera tinctoria . Civilisations have prized this rare dye since at least 4000 BC. Found in Ancient Egyptain burial shrouds, illuminated manuscripts from the Middle Ages and the famous denim blue of Levis jeans, it ages beautifully and is very colourfast.
An enchanting dye process, the fabric changes from green in the dye vat to blue when it comes into contact with the air.
Notes . Reverse fold on the left side of each face. Comes in a handy carry bag to keep the mask clean and easy to pocket. The optional neck strap can be knotted onto each ear strap and worn around the back of the head to allow the mask to be fully removed but remain at hand.
Care . Washable at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle or by hand. Do not tumble dry.
