Allium cepa . Considered a staple ingredient around the world, the onion has been eaten by humans since even before the invention of farming and writing. Due to its shape and pattern of concentric rings, the Ancient Egyptians saw it as a symbol of eternal life, while the Ancient Romans used it as a cure for a number of ailments including headache, heart disease and sores.
The dye colour comes from the dry outer layers of the onion’s skin.
Notes . Reverse fold on the left side of each face. Comes in a handy carry bag to keep the mask clean and easy to pocket. The optional neck strap can be knotted onto each ear strap and worn around the back of the head to allow the mask to be fully removed but remain at hand.
Care . Washable at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle or by hand. Do not tumble dry.
